Drug Formulation
1 jin of Cyperus rotundus (divided into 4 portions: 1 portion soaked in children’s urine for 7 days, 1 portion soaked in wine for 7 days, 1 portion soaked in rice washing water for 7 days, and 1 portion soaked in salt water for 7 days; each portion is then stir-fried until fragrant), 4 liang of Artemisia argyi (soaked in rice washing water for 7 days; then simmered in the rice washing water over low heat for half a day, dried in an oven, and ground into a powder), 5 qian of Amomum villosum, 3 liang of Huai Rehmannia glutinosa (soaked in wine),3 liang of white peony root, 1 liang 5 qian of Corydalis, 5 qian of Schisandra, 1 liang of Eucommia (wine-fried), 1 liang 5 qian of donkey-hide gelatin (fried), and 1 liang of white Atractylodes (wheat bran-fried).

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. On a Renzi day, use a paste made from glutinous rice flour and good-quality rice water to form pills the size of a tung tree seed.
