Drug Formulation

Half a jin of He Shou Wu (soak in rice washing water for two nights; scrape off the coarse skin with a bamboo knife; slice; soak in 5 sheng of black beans in boiling water for one hour; steam until tender and remove the beans); 4 liang of Polygonatum (boil with 2 sheng of black beans until tender; remove the beans; avoid using iron utensils); 2 liang of raw Rehmannia (soaked in wine); 2 liang of prepared Rehmannia (soaked in wine); 2 liang of Asparagus root (core removed);2 liang of Ophiopogon tuber (core removed), 2 liang of red Poria, 2 liang of sliced Atractylodes, 2 liang of ginseng, 2 liang of Acanthopanax bark, 2 liang of Sesamum indicum seeds, 2 liang of pine nut kernels, 2 liang of cypress seed kernels, 2 liang of walnut kernels, and 2 liang of Western goji berries.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 70–80 pills per dose, increasing to 100 pills if necessary; take on an empty stomach with warm wine; salted water may also be used.
