Drug Formulation

3 liang of Eastern Wu-juyou root (cleaned of soil and coarsely chopped), 3 liang of beeswax, 5 chicken eggs (shells removed; use only the yolks), and 1 zhan of glutinous rice.

Processing

Grind all the ingredients listed above—except for the wax and the chicken eggs—into a fine powder. First, melt the wax in a copper pot; immediately add the ground Evodia root, rice flour, and egg yolks, and simmer until the mixture is suitable for forming pills. Then roll the mixture into pills the size of small beans.

Instructions for Use
