Formulas Name : Black-Tailed Snake Pill
Chinese Name : 乌梢丹
Drug Formulation
2 liang of black-striped snake (soaked in water, skin and bones removed), 1 liang of Gastrodia elata, 1 liang of white Aconite root, 1 liang of dried whole scorpion, 1 liang of ginseng, 1 liang of Pinellia (washed in boiling water 7 times), 1 liang of Sichuan Aconite (roasted until cracked), 1 liang of Aconite tuber (roasted), 1 liang of Fangfeng, and 21 Tianjiangzi seeds (lightly roasted).

Processing
Coarsely crush the above ingredients. Soak in wine for two nights, then bake and sift; grind 1 liang of realgar and 1 liang of cinnabar into a fine powder, bake, and mix with the above herbs. Add 2 qian of musk and 1 qian of raw borneol, grind evenly, and form into pills the size of millet grains using glutinous rice.

Instructions for Use
Take 7–15 pills per dose, washed down with Gold, Silver, and Peppermint Decoction.
