Drug Formulation

4 liang of cinnabar (calcined thoroughly with vinegar three times), 1 liang of artemisia (decocted for juice), 2 liang of soapstone alum (calcined thoroughly until red), 1 liang of alisma,2 liang of barley malt, 1 liang of Poria, 1 liang of Atractylodes, 1 liang of Guangpi, 1 liang of Magnolia bark, 1 liang of prepared Rehmannia, 8 liang of jujubes (peeled and pitted), and 4 qian of cinnamon bark.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into an extremely fine powder. Boil the red dates until soft, remove the skins and pits, and mash them into a paste. Mix in the Artemisia capillaris decoction and add refined honey as needed to form pills; each qian yields approximately 20 pills.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose, swallowed with hot water before meals, twice daily.
