Chaihu-Yujin Decoction

Chaihu-Yujin Decoction,Regulates the liver and harmonizes the stomach. Indicated for belching caused by liver injury due to anger or depression, liver qi invading the stomach, and upward rebellion of stomach qi. For frequent epigastric distension, omit Chai Hu and add Dai Zhe Shi; for a bitter taste in the mouth and epigastric discomfort, add Zuo Jin Wan and Zhu Ru.

Chaihu, Zhike, Baishao, Xiangfu, and Yujin—10 grams each; Chenpi, Qingpi, and Xuanfuhua (decocted separately)—6 grams each; Gancao—3 grams.

Instructions for Use

One dose per day, taken warm in the morning and evening. Add an appropriate amount of water to the herbs, decoct twice consecutively, strain, and collect 300 milliliters of the decoction.
