Drug Formulation

Angelica sinensis (wash off the fibrous roots, slice, and roast), Sophora japonica pods (sorted and cleaned, with a delicate fragrance), Fructus Aurantii (remove the pith, stir-fry with wheat bran), Ligusticum chuanxiong (wash and coarsely chop), and Fritillaria thunbergii (remove the core, marinate in ginger juice overnight, then roast until dry)—each in equal parts.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose; decoct with equal parts water and wine (half a zhan each) until reduced to 7/10 of a zhan; take on an empty stomach. As the due date approaches, take 2–3 doses daily. Take regularly from the 5th–6th month of pregnancy onward.
