Drug Formulation

10 liang of magnetite (heat over high flame until red-hot; quench in vinegar seven times; grind finely; wash with water; then simmer with 1 sheng of fine wine until it becomes a syrup-like consistency), 2 liang of Cistanche (soak in wine overnight; scrape off the wrinkled skin; roast until dry), 2 liang of Wood Fragrance, 2 liang of Psoralea (lightly roasted), 2 liang of Areca nut,2 liang of nutmeg (shelled), and 2 liang of Cnidium monnieri.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder, mix with a decoction of magnetite, and form into pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 20 pills at a time on an empty stomach, washed down with warm wine.
