Drug Formulation

3 qian of Chuanxiong, 3 qian of Xixin, 3 qian of Gaoben, 3 qian of Sichuan Angelica, 3 qian of licorice (roasted), 7 apricot kernels (with skin and tips removed), half a qian of borneol, and half a qian of musk.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into an extremely fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Boil the mixture with lamp wick to make a decoction, then dissolve the pill in it and administer orally. For frail children, wrap one pill in fresh cotton and insert it into the nostril—the left nostril for boys and the right for girls.
