Instructions for Use

For adults with severe illness, take no more than 4 pills per dose; for mild illness, 2 pills. For children over 10 years old, 1 pill; for those under 10, half a pill; for infants around one year old, 1 pill—soak in water mixed with roasted yellow earth until softened, then administer three-fourths to four-tenths of the total volume. For women before childbirth, take with Angelica Decoction; after childbirth, take with Safflower Decoction, or use peach kernels as a vehicle; to induce labor, take with a decoction of 3 qian of Buddha’s Hand;For women in labor who are unable to deliver, take it with a decoction of buttered turtle shell; for bloody stools, take it with a decoction of donkey-hide gelatin; for spontaneous vaginal bleeding, take it with a decoction of donkey-hide gelatin; for infertility, take it with a decoction of Angelica sinensis; for red and white metrorrhagia, use a decoction of white dogtail grass for red discharge and a decoction of red dogtail grass for white discharge;For menstrual abdominal pain, administer with a decoction of mugwort leaves; for masses and masses, administer with a decoction of safflower and water caltrop root; for women with blood-deficiency consumption, administer with a decoction of genuine safflower; for blood deficiency, administer with a decoction of angelica and safflower; for young boys and girls suffering from wind-induced smallpox, measles, and similar conditions, administer with a decoction of ginger and scallions, adding cinnabar; if measles fail to erupt, administer with a decoction of Sanchuanliu;For acute and chronic convulsions in children, food stagnation with stomach heat, and spleen deficiency, soak roasted yellow earth in water and administer the solution; for madness caused by phlegm, use honey-processed alum as a carrier; if caused by evil spirits, burn one soapberry to ash and administer it with cinnabar; for mental disorders, add 1–2 li of raw musk and administer;For epidemic fever, take 5 fen of realgar with water; for a cold-induced cough, use ginger juice as a vehicle; for wheezing and coughing, take 7 apricot kernels (with skin and tips removed) decocted in water; for a consumptive cough, take it with old rice soup; for a chronic cough, use 7 apricot kernels and 3 red dates as a vehicle; for typhoid fever, take it with Fangfeng-Zisu Decoction;For internal heat, use bamboo shavings as a vehicle; for chest tightness, take with Amomum decoction; for headache, take with lotus leaf decoction; for lower back pain, take with Eucommia decoction; for leg pain, take with Papaya and Achyranthes decoction; for enuresis, take with Rubus decoction; for urinary and fecal retention, take with Panlongcao (the older, the better) decoction;For hard stools, take with water mixed with sesame paste; for diaphragmatic disorders, take with a decoction of Kaiyuan coins (vinegar-coated), chewing the coins together with sliced water chestnuts; for hemoptysis and dysentery, take with ginger and scallion decoction; for skin sores, scrofula, scabies, tinea, and unknown swellings, take with Chrysanthemum and Forsythia Decoction;For malaria, take it with ginger and scallion soup, or apply it to the eleventh lumbar vertebra; the more feverish the condition, the faster the recovery; for exhaustion-induced jaundice and witchcraft-induced illness, take it with ginger and scallion soup, adding Lycium bark and Lycopodium; for one-sided or bilateral headaches, form the medicine into a cake, heat it, and apply it to both temples for immediate relief; for various types of stomach pain, take one cardamom pod, crush it with a pestle, soak it in rice wine, and take it with ginger juice;For pain caused by small intestine hernia affecting the heart, take a decoction of 7 Sichuan melia fruits and swallow it with the broth; if the pain is in the groin, take it with aniseed decoction; if the condition is acute, take it with a decoction of Coptis and Amomum.
