Drug Formulation
Fu-chuanxiong, Chuanxiong, dried ginger (roasted), Gaoben (stem removed), Xanthium (roasted), Tiannanxing (roasted, peel removed), Fangfeng (stem removed), and licorice (roasted)—each in equal parts.

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. Soak steamed buns in ginger juice, form them into pills the size of a chicken’s head, shape them into cakes, and sun-dry them.

Indicated for qi-induced syncope; excess in the upper and deficiency in the lower; phlegm, fluid retention, wind, and cold latent in the yang meridians; unilateral or bilateral headaches with pain at the crown of the head; vomiting, nausea; and blurred vision and deafness.
Instructions for Use
Take 5 cakes per dose, chew thoroughly, and swallow with tea or wine as desired, at any time of day.
