200 liang of pine cones, 50 liang of raw apricot kernels, 40 liang of soybeans, 100 liang of dandelion, and 2.5 liang of borneol.

Processing

Process and clean the herbal materials. Take 40 liang of pine cones, 40 liang of soybeans, and 100 liang of dandelion; wash them with water, add an appropriate amount of water, and decoct three times for 3 hours, 2 hours, and 1 hour, respectively. Combine the decoction extracts, filter out the sediment, and concentrate under reduced pressure to a thick paste with a specific gravity of 1.30–1.35 at a temperature of 50°C.Take the remaining 160 liang of pine cones, grind them into a fine powder, and sift through a 100-mesh sieve. Take 50 liang of raw apricot kernels, grind them into a paste, mix them with the herbal powder, sift through a 60-mesh sieve, add 2 liang 5 qian of borneol, and mix thoroughly.Take the original powder and the thick paste, mix them in the specified ratio to form pills, and dry them at a low temperature. For every jin of dry pills, use 3 liang 5 qian of talcum powder and 3 qian of fragrant ink for the outer coating; boil water to apply the coating until glossy. After drying, pack into clean bottles and seal. Each hundred pills have a dry weight of 4 qian; each bottle contains 1 liang 2 qian.
