Drug Formulation

1 liang of Ning Shui Shi (crushed and placed in a silk bag), burdock stems 5–6 cun long (boiled separately until tender, then ground), and 3 he of white rice.

Instructions for Use

Boil the above ingredients in 3 sheng of water. First, boil the Ning Shuishi until the liquid is reduced to 1.5 sheng; then add the burdock and, together with the liquid, bring to a boil again. Add the rice and cook into porridge. When done, consume on an empty stomach once daily.
