Drug Formulation

6 fen of genuine rhinoceros horn, 5 qian of cinnabar, 2 liang of realgar, 1 qian of borneol, 5 qian of beehive (calcined to preserve its properties; if charred, it is useless), 1 liang 2 qian of dried silkworm pupae, 2 liang of borax, and 2 liang of sodium sulfate.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into an extremely fine powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 liang per use, mix evenly with 5 qian of calcined gypsum and 5 qian of talc. Apply directly to the affected area, or mix with sesame oil and apply as a poultice.
