1 qian of fresh Coptis root, 1 qian of Leiwan, 1 qian of toad venom, and 3 qian of Aconite.

Processing
Use 1 zhong of water to decoct down to 1 zhong; strain out the residue and collect the liquid. Add 1 qian of raw silk to the medicinal liquid and simmer over low heat. When the liquid is nearly dry, reserve 1 small wine-cup of liquid, remove the mixture, and dry it in the sun. Reimmerse it in the liquid, repeating the process of sun-drying and re-immersing until the liquid is completely absorbed. Dry thoroughly, wrap, and store for future use. In June or July, collect spider webs from the open air and process them into medicinal thread.
