Drug Formulation

20 jin of cypress leaves (crushed; boiled in 1 shi of water to extract 5 dou of juice), 1 shi of millet (rinsed clean), and 10 jin of fine malt (crushed).

*Shenghui* (Volume 95).

Processing

Soak the yeast in the cypress leaf juice until it activates; then cook the millet until done. Allow it to cool, mix thoroughly, place in a jar, seal tightly, and open after 7 days to press out the wine.

Used for bone-steaming syndrome, wasting diseases; wind-induced arthralgia, and intermittent joint pain.

Instructions for Use

Take three times a day, adjusting the dosage according to one’s constitution. Continue until cured.
