Drug Formulation

5 liang of sour jujube seeds (half raw, half roasted), 1 liang of Smilax glabra, 1 liang of red arrowroot, 1 liang of Notopterygium incisum, 1 liang of gardenia bark (chopped), 1 liang of Epimedium, 1 liang of white tribulus, 1 liang of dendrobium (roots removed, chopped),1 liang Achyranthes root (stems removed), 1 liang Morinda root, 1 liang Aconite root (skin and navel removed), 1 liang Angelica root,Cinnamon Bark 1 liang, Salvia Root 1 liang, Fangfeng (with root tip removed) 1 liang, Ligusticum Root 1 liang, Rhododendron Root 1 liang, Dipsacus Root 1 liang, Shaved Antelope Horn 1 liang, Wood Fragrance 1 liang, Eucommia Bark (wrinkled outer skin removed, coarsely chopped) 1 liang, Dogspine 1 liang, Wilfordia Root 1 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Combine 5 sheng of fine wine and 5 he of white honey in a silver pot and simmer over low heat. Then add the herbal powder and stir continuously with a willow wood whisk until the mixture reaches the desired consistency. Add 1 qian of ground musk and mix thoroughly, then transfer to a porcelain container.
