Shortly after the menstrual period, both the two-chi pulses are taut, tight, and forceful; upon palpation, they lack strength. The patient subjectively feels a sensation of ice below the navel and seeks thick clothing and bedding to ward off the cold. There is an abundance of white, slippery vaginal discharge, occasionally resembling water dripping from a leaky roof, with occasional fresh blood; the right-chi pulse is at times faint and forceful.
