Processing

Soak in strong vinegar for 2 days, sun-dry, grind into a powder, and form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using vinegar paste.

For cases where a bone or foreign object is lodged in the throat, preventing swallowing or speaking, and the condition is urgent.

Instructions for Use

Take 1–2 pills at a time, washed down with half tea and half hot water. If the patient feels the urge to vomit, mix half a spoonful of a powder made from granulated sugar and copper carbonate, add 1–2 drops of oil, and take it mixed with tea; this will induce vomiting of the foreign object. If the medicinal effect is delayed, have the patient place both hands on the ground, then use a basin of clear water and stir it vigorously with a goose feather to induce vomiting.
