Formulas Name : Diaphragmatic Qi Pills

Chinese Name : 膈气丸

Drug Formulation

3 qian of Wulingzhi, 3 qian of Asafoetida, and the juice of 3 pig gallbladders.

Processing

Grind the Wulingzhi into a fine powder; melt the Asafoetida by stewing; mix in the pig bile to form pills and dry them in the sun. Have a child spit saliva onto the pills to moisten them thoroughly; dry them in the sun again, then have the child spit saliva on them again to moisten them. Repeat this process 8–9 times until they are completely dry.

Instructions for Use

Take 7 or 9 pills per dose. Effectiveness is typically seen after 3–5 doses.
