Processing
On the day before the Laba Festival each year, place the frankincense in a mortar and grind it very finely as the sun rises. At the first watch of the Laba Festival, draw fresh well water immediately upon waking; first add a few drops to the mortar—the incense powder will become paste-like—then add water and mix thoroughly.
Instructions for Use
At the first watch, each person should sip an amount roughly the size of a tea spoon; the dosage may be adjusted for the elderly and children as needed.
