Drug Formulation

1 jin of Huang Yujin, 12 liang of white alum, 1 liang of Coptis, 2 liang of calcined magnetite, 1 liang of rhubarb, 1 liang of tangerine peel, 2 liang of raw gardenia, 5 liang of Shenqu (fried with wheat bran), 2 liang of Phellodendron, 2 liang of Scutellaria, 6 liang of calcined gold ore, 1 liang of agarwood, and 4 liang of fried white mustard seeds.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with cool boiled water to form pills, and pack them into bags weighing 3 qian each.

Instructions for Use

Adults: Take 1 packet per dose. Children aged 1–4 years: Divide the contents of one packet into 6 doses; children aged 5–7 years: Divide into 3 doses. Take with plain boiled water.

Note

Contraindicated for pregnant women and those with chronic qi deficiency.
