Chinese Name : 固精益肾暖脐膏
Drug Formulation
1 liang of Chinese chive seeds, 1 liang of Cnidium seeds, 1 liang of large Aconite root, 1 liang of cinnamon bark, 3 liang of Sichuan pepper, 2 jin of genuine sesame oil, 12 liang of Fudan (finely sifted), 1 liang of Japanese sulfur (ground), 1 qian of clove buds (ground), 3 qian of musk (ground), and 1 clove of garlic (mashed).

Processing
Soak the first five ingredients in sesame oil for half a month, then simmer them in a pot until they turn black and charred. Strain out the residue, add the cinnabar, and continue simmering until a drop of the mixture forms a bead when placed in water. When the consistency is just right—neither too soft nor too hard—the ointment is ready.

Instructions for Use
Each time, spread a piece of bright red satin to the size of a wine cup’s mouth. Pound Japanese sulfur, camphor, and musk powder with garlic until thoroughly mixed, then form into pills the size of a pea. Place these pills inside the ointment and apply as a plaster.
