Drug Formulation
1 Trichosanthes fruit, 10 liang of pig pancreas, and 10 liang of mulberry twigs.

Processing
Take 1 Trichosanthes fruit, cut off the top, remove the pulp and seeds, and pound them together with the pig’s pancreas until smooth. Then place the mixture back into the Trichosanthes fruit, cover it with the original lid, and set it on clean earth. Take 10 liang of mulberry twigs,approximately 4–5 cun in length, bundle them around the Trichosanthes fruit, and burn them over charcoal. Fan the fire until all the smoke has dissipated; when the mixture is nearly reduced to ash, stop fanning. Once cooled, mix the ash with the powder and grind it into a very fine powder.

Instructions for Use
For each use, take 2 qian of the mixture, soak it in boiling water, let it settle, remove the sediment, and rinse it.
