Drug Formulation
3 liang of Angelica dahurica, 3 liang of winter melon seeds, 1.5 liang of Asarum sieboldii, 1.5 liang of Asarum sieboldii, 1.5 liang of Saposhnikovia divaricata, 3 liang of Phytolacca acinosa, 3 liang of Ligusticum chuanxiong, 1 liang of Angelica sinensis, 1 liang of Ligusticum chuanxiong, 1 liang of Eupatorium fortunei, 1 liang of Trichosanthes kirilowii root (peeled),1 liang of peach kernels, half a liang of magnolia bark, half a liang of Cinnamomum cassia, half a liang of Atractylodes lancea resin, half a liang of musk, half a liang of white silkworm pupae, half a liang of white aconite, half a liang of gardenia flowers, half a liang of Linglingxiang, and 3 pig pancreases (sliced, soaked in water for 6 days; when ready to use, squeeze out the juice with wine and soak the herbs in it).

Processing
Slice the ingredients thinly, wrap them in cotton, and soak them in the pig pancreas juice overnight. Before dawn, heat 6 sheng of lard over low heat, stirring three times up and three times down, until the Angelica dahurica turns yellow and the ointment is formed. Strain out the residue, add the musk, and store in a porcelain container.
