Drug Formulation

2 qian of sow’s feces (collected in the 12th lunar month, charred until the essence remains), 2 qian of cinnabar (ground with water until fine), 2 qian of borneol, 2 qian of musk, 1 qian of ox bile (each ground separately), and half a liang of snake bile (from the Western Mountains; charred until red, quenched in vinegar three times, ground with water until fine, and used dry).

Form into pills the size of a paulownia seed using a paste made from “East-Flowing Water,” and coat with cinnabar.

Instructions for Use
