4 liang of red arsenic, 5 qian of Notopterygium, 5 qian of Angelica pubescens, 5 qian of Coptis, 5 qian of Gardenia bark, 3 qian 5 fen of realgar, 3 qian 5 fen of licorice, 8 liang of Psyllium seeds, 6 liang of large soapberry.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a powder, boil in water for one day and one night, stir-fry over low heat until dry, add 1 liang 5 qian each of camphor and ice, place in a jar and seal tightly, heat over a fire for three sticks of incense, take 4 liang of the rising elixir, wrap it in blue cloth, soak the gardenia bark in a child’s urine, pound it into a cake, wrap the medicine in it, remove after seven days, grind into a powder, and use as needed.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 li of the medicine, mix with a slice of ginger and a pinch of Schizonepeta, steep in hot water, and drink the mixture. If itching occurs after seven days, boil Bai Ji in water and drink the decoction to relieve the symptoms.
