Drug Formulation
2 liang of mercury, 1 liang of lead, 4 liang of calcined soda, 3 liang of white alum, 8 qian of rock salt.

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, place in a Yangcheng jar, and simmer over low heat for the duration of one incense stick to remove moisture. Cover the opening with an iron oil lamp, securing it tightly with iron wire. Seal with salt mud, applying heat gradually from low to high; when using high heat, wipe water over the lamp. After three incense sticks, remove from the heat, bury in soil, and retrieve after two days and nights. Dry in the sun, grind into a fine powder, store in a jar, and keep on hand for use.
