1 piece of fresh ginger (split down the middle; hollow out a small amount from each side to accommodate 15 Croton seeds; then reassemble the ginger, wrap it in paper, moisten it, and bake until tender).

Instructions for Use
First, drink one zhan of hot, clear broth. Remove the pills, swallow one with a mouthful of broth, then chew the steamed ginger, and swallow the remaining broth. It is also acceptable if this induces a bowel movement.
