8 liang of ginseng, 8 liang of large processed aconite root.

Processing

Coarsely grind the ingredients and steep them in 2 jin of swan fat for half a month. Simmer over low heat until charred black, strain out the residue, and simmer again until a drop of the mixture forms a bead when dropped into water. Then add 1 jin of Dongdan and simmer slowly until it becomes a paste.

Instructions for Use

Allow the ointment to cool slightly, then add 5 qian of musk. Spread it on ramie thread and apply it to the Dan Tian area, extending to the navel. Take He Che Hui Tian Pills internally. For consumptive patients on the verge of death, applying this ointment can restore life.
