Formulas Name : Ginseng Calming the Spirit Pills

Chinese Name : 人参安神丸

Drug Formulation

1 qian of ginseng, 3 qian of angelica root, 3 qian of ophiopogon tuber, 2 qian of coptis, 3 qian of raw rehmannia root, 2 qian of cinnabar, 2 qian of poria with ginger, and 2 qian of jujube seeds.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with pig’s heart blood to form pills the size of a water caltrop seed; coat with cinnabar.
