Drug Formulation

Black lead (refined 10 times) 3 liang (combined with mercury to form granules; break into small pieces; boil with 10 liang of licorice in water for half a day; allow to cool; remove the licorice and grind it into a fine powder), mercury 3 liang, iron powder 3 liang, cinnabar (sifted) half a liang, talcum powder (ground) 1 liang, and Tiannanxing (roasted and ground into a powder) 3 fen.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with wheat flour paste to form pills the size of a sesame seed.

Instructions for Use

For each child aged 1 year, administer 1 pill after breastfeeding or a meal, taking it with peppermint and honey tea. Continue until a bowel movement occurs; if none occurs, administer another dose.
