Drug Formulation

3 large areca nuts, 3 liang of pharbitis (half stir-fried with wheat bran, half used raw), 3 liang of cassia bark (peeled), 2 liang of green tangerine peel (white pith removed), 2 liang of aged tangerine peel (white pith removed), and 2 liang of dried ginger (roasted).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from vinegar and flour to form pills the size of mung beans.

Instructions for Use

Take 15 pills per dose, with tea or wine as a vehicle. For women with chest and abdominal pain, take with vinegar soup; for men, take with aniseed soup. It is particularly effective when taken after a hangover.
