Drug Formulation

1 set of Zi He Che (wash thoroughly with hot rice-washing water, then wash with musk decoction; use a needle to remove the red blood from the tendons; it is best if rinsed several times), 2 liang of Sichuan Phellodendron (tossed with salted wine, sun-dried, and stir-fried until brown), 1 liang of Anemarrhena (stir-fried with salted wine),Ginseng, 1 liang of turtle shell (roasted with butter, with the edges removed), 4 liang of prepared Rehmannia root (soaked in wine), 2 liang of goji berries, 1 liang of peony bark, 1 liang of Poria, 5 qian of Alisma, 5 qian of Schisandra berries, and 5 qian of rock salt.

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder and form into pills with Chinese yam paste, each the size of a tung seed.
