For conditions accompanied by exterior syndrome, decoct 9 stalks of green onion whites (with roots attached) to yield 1 tea clock of decoction. Dissolve 1 pill in the decoction while it is still hot, then drink the entire amount in one go.Sweating under the covers indicates the treatment is effective. If sweating is delayed after ingestion, take another dose of the scallion white decoction to induce it; subsequently, profuse sweating will occur, as if being washed by rain. Gradually remove and cover the patient with clothing; the sweating will subside on its own, and the patient will naturally feel refreshed, as if the illness has vanished. For conditions that have not yet fully developed, they will dissipate immediately; for those that have already developed, they will become severely swollen and ulcerate with pus. If the various ailments are not accompanied by exterior symptoms and do not require dispersing treatment, simply dissolve the pill in hot wine and take it.
