Drug Formulation

Ochre (ground) 1 liang, Cinnabar (ground) 1 liang, Lead White (ground) 1 liang,Ni Fen (ground) 1 liang, Realgar (ground) 1 liang, Borneol (ground) 1 liang, Lead White (ground) 1 liang, Turmeric 3 liang, Ginseng 3 liang, Ophiopogon (without core) 3 liang, Sweet Honeysuckle (ground) 2 liang, Borax (ground) half a liang, White Alum (ground) 1.5 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix them thoroughly, and form into pills the size of cherries using refined honey.

Benefits

For all types of wind-induced drooling; stroke with locked jaw and inability to speak; sudden collapse; and obstruction due to excessive saliva.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose, dissolved in freshly drawn water; for hidden heat in typhoid fever affecting the heart and causing mania, take 1 pill per dose, dissolved in honey water; for acute and chronic convulsions in children accompanied by foaming at the mouth, divide 1 pill into 3 doses and dissolve each in fresh water with mint.
