Drug Formulation

1 jin of ox marrow, 1 jin of sheep marrow, 1 jin of white honey, 1 jin of clarified butter, 1 jin of date pulp (simmer the above five ingredients together in a silver pot until they form a paste, then add the following powdered herbs), 1 liang of Poria cocos,Chuanxiong 1 liang, Tianmendong 1 liang (remove the core, roast), Cinnamon Bark 1 liang, Angelica sinensis 1 liang, Achyranthes root 1 liang (remove the stems), Ginseng 1 liang (remove the root crown), Cistanche 2 liang (soak in wine overnight, scrape off the wrinkled skin, roast until dry), Fangfeng 1 liang (remove the root crown), Schisandra berries 1 liang,1 liang of deer antler gelatin (crushed and stir-fried until yellow and dry), 1 liang of prepared Rehmannia root, 1 liang of dodder seeds (soaked in wine for 1–3 nights, sun-dried, and ground into a separate powder).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder, add it to the previously prepared ox marrow decoction, and simmer further until thickened. Form into pills as soon as possible, each the size of a tung seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 30 pills per dose on an empty stomach or before the evening meal, washed down with warm wine.
