Drug Formulation

Coptis rhizome 1 jin (steamed with wine, soaked to remove the wine, then sun-dried), Trifoliate orange peel half a jin (pits removed, stir-fried), dried kudzu root 4 liang, kudzu flowers 4 liang (if unavailable, substitute with kudzu root), locust flowers 4 liang, wood fragrant 3 liang.

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; use the wine used to soak the Coptis as a binder to form paste pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
