8 fen of Kushen, 7 black plums, and 3 chicken eggs (use only the whites).

If the epidemic rash persists for 5 days without abating—and before reaching 7 days—toxic heat affects the skin and flesh, causing pain in the limbs.
Instructions for Use
Boil the two ingredients in 3 sheng of vinegar until reduced to 1 sheng; strain to remove the dregs and clarify the liquid. Add the egg whites and stir until well blended, skim off the foam, and divide the mixture into two doses. Take in two separate doses. This should induce vomiting to expel the toxic heat, leading to recovery.
