Drug Formulation
1 qian of genuine rhinoceros horn, 5 qian of fly-blue indigo (mixed thoroughly with half the amount of bluefish bile), 1 qian of borax, 1 qian of catechu, 0.5 fen of camphor,Indian Curcuma 1 qian 5 fen, Pearl Powder (boiled in tofu) 1 qian, Processed Glycyrrhiza 1 qian (processed using the “Five Methods for Processing Glycyrrhiza”: first calcine 5 qian of Glycyrrhiza; then, using 1 qian each of Sichuan Coptis, Phellodendron, and Scutellaria, decoct into a concentrated decoction; mix with the Glycyrrhiza and reprocess until all the liquid is fully absorbed into the Glycyrrhiza), Calcined Zhongbai 4 qian.
