Drug Formulation
1 liang of soot from the bottom of a cauldron, 1 liang of soot from the hearth, 1 liang of dust from the ceiling, 1 liang of Scutellaria baicalensis, 1 liang of wheat bran, 1 liang of cold-water stone, 1 liang of ephedra, 1 liang 5 qian of Coptis chinensis, 3 qian of bear bile, 2 qian of cinnabar, 1.5 qian of Western cow bile, and 1 qian of pearl powder.

Processing
Grind each of the above herbs into a fine powder; mix with refined honey to form pills, each weighing 1 qian; sun-dry and store in a wax-sealed container.

Instructions for Use
Take one pill per dose. For patients on the verge of mental collapse, take it with a decoction of ginseng and bamboo sap. For routine use, take one cup of freshly drawn water, grind one pill into the water until it dissolves completely, and drink the mixture. If the patient wishes to drink water, allow them to do so; drinking plenty of water is beneficial. Shortly thereafter, the patient should experience chills and break out in a sweat, at which point the delirium will cease. If no sweat appears within about one hour after taking the dose, take another pill; continue until sweat appears and the delirium subsides.
