Drug Formulation

1 qian of mercury oxide, half a liang of realgar, 1 qian of apricot kernels (soaked in hot water, with skin, tip, and double kernels removed), and a small amount of musk.

Processing

In a mortar, first grind the apricot kernels into a paste; then grind the remaining ingredients together until fine and uniform. Store in a porcelain jar with a tight-fitting lid.

Instructions for Use

For each patient, regardless of the severity, apply a dot the size of a grain of glutinous rice to the nasal polyp using a bone or bamboo chopstick while lying down at night. Repeat once every other night. Results are effective within half a month.
