Drug Formulation

2 liang of large softshell turtle shell (boil in vinegar for 30–50 boils, then thoroughly remove the frills; boil separately in good vinegar until fragrant), 2 liang of Yin Zhou Bupleurum (stems removed), 1 liang of large Sichuan Aconite (processed to remove skin and pith), 3 liang of Scrophularia, 1 liang of dried lacquer (roasted), 1 liang of dried Pueraria root, 2 liang of Gentiana (soil removed), 1 liang of ginseng,Poria 1 liang.

Grind the above ingredients into a powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose. First, use 3–7 grains of wheat to prepare 1 zhan of decoction; remove the wheat, then continue decocting until the volume is reduced to 7 fen. Take while warm, either after meals or before bedtime.
