Drug Formulation

1 liang of Bupleurum, 1 liang of Sichuan rhubarb (coarsely chopped and lightly roasted), 1 liang of Scutellaria, 1 liang of red peony root,Zhishi 1 liang (roasted with wheat bran until slightly yellow), Banxia half a liang (washed seven times in boiling water to remove slipperiness), Ren Shen 1 liang (root tip removed), Gan Cao half a liang (lightly roasted until slightly red, coarsely chopped), Huangqi 1 liang (coarsely chopped).

Instructions for Use

Take 5 qian per dose. Boil in 1 large zhan of water with 1 fen of bamboo shavings and half a fen of fresh ginger until reduced to 5 fen. Strain and take while warm, regardless of the time of day.
