2 liang of Bupleurum, 3 fen of Pinellia, 3 fen of Scutellaria, 3 fen of licorice, half a liang of Zhi Shi, and 1 liang of rhubarb.

Instructions for Use

Coarsely crush the ingredients. For each dose, take 5 qian of the mixture, add 1.5 zhan of water, 7 slices of fresh ginger, and 1 jujube; decoct until reduced to 6 fen, strain out the residue, and take before meals.

Note

Once the fever has subsided, do not immediately take tonic herbs. Continue to avoid mutton, kidneys, alcohol, and hard-to-digest foods. Abstain from sexual intercourse.
