Drug Formulation

1 jin of lamb (trimmed of fat and membrane, sliced), 4 liang of Cistanche (soaked in wine overnight, wrinkled skin scraped off), 1 liang of Aconite (roasted until cracked, skin and pith removed), half a liang of Dried Ginger (roasted until cracked, coarsely chopped), 1 fen of Black Pepper,1 fen of Shiluo, 1 fen of Bi Bo, half a liang of He Li Le (roasted, using only the peel), half a liang of Wu Ti, and 5 sheng of white flour.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder. Finely chop the pork and Cistanche, mix them with the powdered herbs, and divide the mixture into 4 portions for the filling. Wrap each portion of filling in dough made with urine-soaked flour, seal the edges, gently press to ensure even sealing, wrap in damp paper, and roast over a low fire until cooked through.
