Drug Formulation
Ginseng 3 qian (for those with weak constitution, use 1 liang; or substitute with 1 liang of North Zhili ginseng steamed in breast milk), Large Sichuan Coptis (wine-fried) 2 qian, Stinking Coriander (fried, rubbed to remove the skin, and cleaned) 5 qian,45 grains of Junzi (wrapped in flour and steamed, then shelled and stripped of the inner black skin), 1 liang of Yeming Sand (rinsed in water to remove soil and grit, then stir-fried in vinegar until dry), 5 qian of bleached Atractylodes (stir-fried with aged wall soil) (if Atractylodes is unsuitable, substitute with Coix seed stir-fried to taste), 5 qian of Wu Shenqu (stir-fried), 5 qian of raw barley malt (stir-fried),Tianjiangzi (i.e., the flesh of the grain weevil; soaked in hot water, washed clean, and stir-fried) 1 liang, Huai yam (stir-fried) 3 qian, Xiaoqingpi (stir-fried with vinegar) 3 qian, Hu Huanglian (stir-fried with wine) 3 qian, hawthorn pulp (seeds removed, washed in hot water) 3 qian, dried clam shells (roasted over fire, quenched in vinegar until extremely charred) 3 pieces, flowered areca nut 3 qian.
