Drug Formulation

Raw borneol 1 qian (ground), talcum powder 1 fen, mercury half liang (mix with half qian of waxed tea and a piece of high-quality butter the size of a jujube; grind and mix with the mercury until smooth, then grind the mixture), Tiannanxing 2 qian (wash, remove skin and core, wrap in damp paper, bake in quicklime until cooked, then grind), petroleum (for winter use) 1 liang (with an additional 1 fen).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with petroleum, and form into pills the size of mung beans.

Instructions for Use

For children aged 1–4, take 1–2 pills per dose, washed down with a decoction of frankincense; do not let the pills dissolve. Wait 3–5 meals after taking the dose; once the pathogenic substances and phlegm are expelled, the treatment is effective.
