Drug Formulation

2 fen of Bupleurum, 2 fen of Forsythia, 2 fen of Angelica root tips, 2 fen of raw licorice, 2 fen of Scutellaria, 2 fen of Mouse-ear plant seeds, 2 fen of Beijing-grown Curcuma, 2 fen of Platycodon, 5 fen of Coptis, and a small amount of Safflower.

Processing

Coarsely chop the ingredients to the size of sesame seeds or beans; use the entire mixture for one dose.

Instructions for Use

Decoct 2 large bowls of water until reduced to 1 bowl; strain out the residue; take while still slightly warm after a meal.

Note

Avoid bitter herbs that induce bowel movements.
