Cinnamon bark 1 liang 5 qian (peeled), Moutan bark 8 qian, Astragalus root 2 liang, Codonopsis root 2 liang, Angelica root 2 liang, Raw Rehmannia root 2 liang, White Peony root 1 liang, Cistanche 1 liang, Aconite root (roasted) 1 liang, Trichosanthes seed 1 liang (shell removed), Schizonepeta 5 qian, Fangfeng 5 qian, Ephedra 5 qian,Cinnamomum cassia twigs 5 qian, Bupleurum root 5 qian, Peucedanum root 5 qian, Cimicifuga root 5 qian, Pueraria root 5 qian, Perilla leaf 5 qian, Peppermint 5 qian, Notopterygium root 5 qian, Angelica pubescens root 5 qian, Angelica dahurica root 5 qian, Ligusticum root 5 qian, Asarum root 5 qian (one formula includes musk 5 qian).

Processing
Take 2 jin of genuine sesame oil, 4 liang of ginger, and 4 liang of scallion bulbs (finely chopped). Simmer them in the oil over low heat until charred, then remove the residue and strain the liquid. Weigh the oil precisely; for every 1 jin of oil, add half a jin of finely ground and purified realgar. Simmer over low heat until the mixture reaches the proper consistency, then transfer it to a porcelain container. It may be used after 7 days.
